I have a question hopefully someone can help me. I have a 94 C1500 with the 305, my cluster doesn't have a tach. Wondering if I go to the junkyard and grab a cluster with a tach, would everything work????

get one from a truck with your same size engine, (ie V8, get one from a V8). only 93-94 will work.

Thanks fellas, I found my year truck. Says it will fit 305 and 350. Not sure if the tach was an option that required a separate harness or not?

Yw no problem man...since yours is a 94 it should be plug and play (but don't quote me on that)...worst case you might to run a wire for tach signal

So, I put in my used cluster with a tach, but the tach doesn't work...:nono:. Now what? I guess this weekend I have some trouble shooting to do. Any ideas? It is the same model tac (1994 from a V8 350) mine is a 1994 w 305. What gives?
