I'm not sure if I should ask this in the offroad forum, but I figured offroad Fab. Anyways, anyone put a 42 gallon suburban fuel tank in a 2 door yukon or tahoe? From what I see in the parts they are both behind the rear axle and looks the same shape as the 30 gallon just bigger and has bigger straps. The filler pipe is also the same part number between the two. Anyone know the answer to this cause I would really like to empty my wallet filling my tank.

what year suburban we talking about?
from my research a 30 gal tank for a 93 is roughly 14in tall 30 long 24 wide

for a 94 burban height is 18in length 29 and width is 33 for a 42 gallon tank

so IIRC when i pulled my tank the mounts and how the tank is set in is its tucked pretty damn close between the frame rails which yuo could probably turn the tank cockeyed but youd still have to make a mount to bolt the straps as well as find straps that will work.
