Stupid 700r4 shifting problem, advice please?

Well , you think it could be loose or something? If i accelerate fast enough (i dont mean haul ass, just moderate acceleration) it doesn't shake, but when i accelerate slowly it starts shaking bad. Usually i can either tap the gas pedal or let off a bit and it stops.

Man that sounds like it is trying to lock up. It will only lock up under moderate acceleration.

Where is the solenoid exactly? (PLEASE don't say inside the tranny...)

Not really. The whole transmission is covered in gunk from over the years. The only mud i get when i DO go mudding is a little in the engine bay (stock air cleaner housing, kept it to keep water out) and in the back bumper and frame rails behind the rear axle. Remember, 2wd.
