Hopefully this is in the correct part of the forum here but here goes. My buddy just replaced the power steering lines on his 02 trailblazer and as soon as he starts the truck the steering wheel will shake violently back and forth. I tried bleeding the lines by jacking the front end up and turning the wheel lock to lock while the truck was off and it didnt help at all. I cant touch the wheel after it starts shaking. Any ideas on what could be causing this? THe rack is about a year old.

Scott, I already read that link and did that exact procedure. The truck starts just fine and the wheel wont stsrt shaking violently until you touch it or move the front wheels just a little bit. I have no idea if this truck has sensors in the steering system.

I did try that but I'm guessing that here is still more air in the system. I'm just way to sick right. Ow to mess with it so my buddy is going to do it tomorrow. I told him to get in the truck and just keep turning that wheel back and forth with the front end jacked up and the engine off. There must be 10 linear feet of lines he has to bleed. I'm old school and have never had a nice fancy truck with rack and pinion steering.
