Sputtering

The truck was running good and i left for 2 weeks and when i started it up it it starting sputtering and jerking on acceleration it idled ok but soon as i started accelerating it would die out and spudder. When i got it up to speed and let off the accerator it rode smooth till i need to accelerate.
I replaced the plugs about 3 weeks ago and rode fine for a week after changing. Any suggestions would be helpful. The truck is a 91 gmc c1500 with a 305

When I first had this happening it turned out to be my spark plug wires ($90). You couldn't see it in the daylight but at night it had cracks in the insulation and was arcing when a load was put on it (E-brake on, put in gear with A/C compressor on).

The other time I had this happen, it turned out to be the ignition coil ($60).

Change fuel filter and check fuel pressure.

little last but the issue was the distributor replace and good good.
