Guys I have swapped a carbureted 454 engine into my 98 silverado. original engine was the 4.1 Liter L6 engine (mexican) there was no VSS nor drac on it so I got one from a 94, I connected the green wire from the speed sensor and connected it to the VSS module purple cable (speed input) fed the module with 12V from battery, nd the blu/blk cable which is speed output connected it to the cluster's terminal #14 which is speedometer signal input. with no results.
speed sensor reads 1.39Kohm which is within range, how can I check if my speedoemeter galvanometer or my vss module is working properly?
