I have an LMC Premium chrome smoothie, it fits fine and the chrome is okay I guess. The lip of the bumper that kind of sits behind the grille and has the bolts through it isn't finished very well though.

See that eventually will be an issue, unfortunately. I called to see what chroming costs and really after you buy a good one from a yard and send it off, really not that much money.

Anybody who has done restorations can tell you that sending items out to be chromed is extremely hit-or-miss, too. Check reputations very thoroughly before sending your parts.

I should have said that, I completely agree and call and talk to them, if they say why would you have that chromed, just by an aftermarket, then that is not the attitude of a business I want to trust in.

I got mine from LMC...also have bought jumpers from LMC for my 72 I built...all three bumpers were awesome quality and they fit with no issues at all and I'm impressed with the quality on the chrome...that's just me tho!..
Front smoothie on my 2000 was $189 plus some shipping...might be able to find it cheaper elsewhere but I knew the quality from my 72 bumpers so I didn't hesitate.

I bought a rear re-chrome bumper, from Keystone I think, and it's nothing but a cheap crash part and looks it. They must have sanded heavy rust off with a belt sander before poorly re-chroming it. I probably went with the re-chrome thinking it would be a quality piece, since it was a factory part, originally.
