So I've done a bit of reading over at FSC, and it seems that the Bilstein HD shocks are the way to go. Any other feedback? I'm looking to keep the truck at the factory ride height, so any form of lift or drop is out.

Also, how hard is it to change out the suspension (shocks and leafs) on my own? I know it is fairly simple in my F-body cars, but working on the truck is new to me. Thanks for the help.

Yes this is the best way to go if you just want to have a nice stock suspension. These bilstein hd's came stock on z71's.

Here are your part numbers from the bilstein catalog. http://www.bilsteinus.com/305bilsteinapplicationguide.pdf

rears: F4-BE5-2502-H0

Shocks and leafs are pretty straight forward, and if you have problems there is lots of resources out there if not here, you got FSC, GMFS, etc.

Thanks man. I remember bookmarking this link for the Bilsteins at some point last year. It looks like the price has gone up a bit since then... Oh well.
