Rear Track Width - 99 esky

anyone know the rear track width of this thing at all?

given its in Texas and I'm not I have no real way of measuring it I figure someone will know.

want to pull the rear end out and toss it in my 88 SWB stepside IF it fits without modding.

63.5 rear track width and yours should be 63.6

so the stepside is shorter?

this is a 2wd btw.

looks like I get a tape measure out then as I have conflicting information on this.

so 63 5/8" for the 2wd rear end vs 63 1/2" for the 4wd item?

where can I find the exact specs for both trucks?

You 100% sure on those 2wd vs. 4wd measurements?

Also, I'm sure you know this but your statement is a little misleading; just because Escalade/Tahoe/Yukon does not mean 4WD. I know his donor truck is, and that tells me the rear axle is several inches wider than his 2wd truck's axle, like 3~4" wider.

only mistake made is 63.6 is the 4x4 width and 63.5 is the 2wd

here lies the issue:

both trucks are in texas , Im not (I live in Australia , bought both trucks a Copart at auction in Ok.) so I can't measure them.

running by RPO I see the same rear axle code on both,

the 88 SWB has a 3.08 rearend (GU4)
the 99 4wd esky has a 3.73 LSD (G80) (GT4)

there is nothing I can find regarding rear track width (brake hub to brake hub) on either of them.

the link given gives wheelbase and overally length but that's not quite what I am looking for.

I want the heavier axle under mine as it has the better gears and LSD.
