I bought a 94 k1500 WT a month ago and the thing has heater issues.

I want to pull my HVAC unit out of a 94 and replace it with a summit heater that I already have. I am just going to heat the windshield. The summit heaters have made there way into a 84 c10 and will be in my 87 k10 so I want one in this truck also. I simply heat the windshield and it works while keeping things easy.

I am looking to do this without removing the dash or engine.

I will not be reinstalling the HVAC and will be replacing the TBI harness with a standalone from affordable fuel injection at a later time. For now I will need to retain the factory harness.

Can I get to these bolts through the glovebox, radio, and heater controller in the dash?
Are there any on the engine side that pass through the firewall?
