A few days ago I installed a keyless entry on my 98k1500 I simply got a paperclip between pins 4 and 8 on the OBD plug like shown in videos. That worked fantastic. Used it for a few days, replaced the outside door handle today, had to take apart the door and everything. Put it all back together. And now when I turn the key in the truck, the doors unlock?! Never happened before! Also the doors wont lock or unlock on the passenger or drivers side unless I use the remote?! Very weird....The passenger window works fine but the drivers side is a little finicky...
Im trying to figure this out, could it be a bad relay? I wigged the wiring around and got nothing....
