Plus size tires?

1999 Tahoe, 4wd, no lift, running the OEM sawblade alloys. What's the largest tire you could install without rubbing? I have a mismatched set of tires on it from previous owner and want to run BFG Rugged Terrains. The Long Trails are a bit too timid and I don't want the cost and road noise from the All Terrains. I like BFG products as I've never had an issue with them and my local Discount Tire runs decent pricing and their customer service is solid. Thanks for any input/recommendations...

285/75/16's will be fine.

I have 285/75s I believe that's the largest you can go with out crank or anything. Hopefully other members will chirp in
