Hmmmm finding a v6 with a tach might be tricky

Tell me about it. Girlfriend has had her I6 F150 for about 8 months and we finally chanced upon a I6 tach cluster about three weeks ago.

Somebody must be taking all the gauges at my local junkyard I only found two that didn’t have a tach and only one that had a tach which was a very high mileage Tahoe. I took the tach one cause even though it’s off, still nice to have. I installed it and still no speedometer

Speed sensor on the tranny get fried when the circuit board on the original cluster got cut?

Wait a second... could I get a v6 cluster and take off the front and then put on my tach cluster to make it accurate?

Is having the speedo off by 5mph normal for an older GM? I dont recall my old cluster being that far off...

Is the VSSB that you used correct for your gear ratio/tire size?
