OIL PRESSURE LOW

is under 30 a low oil pressure if so how do i fix it? my oil was changed recently i use 10W30

How many miles? On the older carb engines, I was taught that 10lbs for every 1000rpm was acceptable. Don't know if that holds true for the F.I. engines, though. Throw some 'Lucas' oil treatment in there. May help.

mine normally stays under 30 and its got 207,000 miles

oil pressure generally goes down as the engine wears out. If you want more pressure a rebuild would take care of it.

My new crate motor has ~45psi at hot idle, shows up to 60psi I believe under throttle.

Oil pressure is measured at an rpm per engine type.

Your owners manual will tell you what and how fast.

Owners manual doesn't have it apparently. I must have been thinking of the service manuals...
