Odd Warm up behavior

Alright, here is the situation. Since the temps have been getting colder at night, since around the beginning of october, the truck has been acting a little funny during its first start of the day. 92 K2500 so you know.

The problem is that when the motor is cold, it will start up fine, but about 5 minutes or so into letting the truck get warm, it will try to die, as if I am opening the egr at idle. it will do that once or twice, but won't actually die. Then it just keeps running for the rest of the day no problem.



On a side note, has anyone else been bit by Mr. Frost yet?

Check the temp vs resistance of the coolant temp sensor the two wire one by the T stat housing not the single wire one in the Cyl head. The charts are on the Web and in the Haynes manual page 6-14 its the same as the intake air sensors.
