NV3500 input seal replacement

Hi, new member here.
I gave owned a couple 88-98 Chevy trucks. My newest purchase is a 1998 GMC 1500. It is an extended cab 2 wheel drive with a 4.3 and 5 speed standard shift.
The truck has a bad engine, I am going to be installing a new reman engine from GM. I am also installing a new clutch kit and would like to replace the input seal.
I am having a tough time finding much info on replacing the input seal on the NV3500.
Has anyone replaced the seal and is there anything special I need to know?

Just in case anyone else needs to do this, I did it and it was pretty simple. There is a front bearing retainer plate that goes over the input shaft. That houses the input seal. You just unbolt it, pry the old seal out, drive the new one in, and apply sealer to the bearing retainer plate and bolt it back on.
