NP243C fit a NP3500

HI. I have a 1997 Yukon GT. If I install a NP3500 (5 speed manual) can I use the NP243C transfer case? Or need to install the whole tranny/transfer combo?

The transfer cases themselves are the same, the only difference is that the manual trans has a bigger output shaft. You can put the larger input shaft in the transfer case you have, or use the whole other case. Iv never personally done one, and do not know how big a job the swap is, but i know it does fit.
