Will my T-case fit?

I have a 1989 Chevy k1500 with the 700r4 I believe and I'm swaping in a NV4500 from a 2000 Gmc k2500 when I got the 5 speed it didn't come with the T case. Will mine out of my 89 bolt up to it or will I have to find a new one. I'm hoping that mine will work but I don't know, if anyone does know please tell me.

no it will not your 700r4 has a 27 spline out put shaft that mates to your t-cases 27 spline in put shaft manual transmissions as well as th400/3l80 4l80e have a 32 spline out put shaft and need a t-case that has a 32 spline in put shaft your options are get another t-case or take your t-case apart and change the in put shaft if you do not know how to do it or are not comfortable doing take it to some one that can do the job for you
