Ya I emailed northwest fab and for a rebuilt 205 with vss and a kit to bolt it to my truck it would be over 1600 bucks! So I'm just going to stick with the stock 241 for now! But thanks for the help!

can you get a th400 to 241 adapter?

I know right now I'm running a th350 and a 241 case in my 88. I still have tbi and crap as well.

th350 is an easy swap it bolts right up in place of the 700r4 or maybe the 460 or whatever, the t-case adapter is the same and bolts right up, only thing is you need the tailshaft and spacer plate to make it the correct length overall and it'll completely bolt in place. They have kits availible to do this though, summit, northern and others have it. That's what mine has.

if your goin carb'd it doesnt matter. swap in the entire drivertrain from a 70's-80's k30. stealth conversions makes an adapter to hook up the speedo (cable driven signal generator) around here the ex-military pickups popup pretty regular. d60 t400/208 14bolt rear. that way youd have all the "little things" that are needed when doin a swap
