Yeah, it's a frankentruck, truck is a 1991, pulled the dash and underhood and dash harness from a 1997 or 98, and the new engine and tranny is out of a 2012 Camaro SS. I pulled the bracket off the firewall along with the dash since I needed it to mount the new steering column, and replaced that whole thing so the geometry should be good on that. The pedals are a completely different shape between the years, I know the pedal pad are different between auto and manual so that would explain all the part numbers.
I was doing some more tinkering this weekend and I do have a question for you all, and another possible hiccup with this swap. Can anyone confirm that the rod is correct as it shows in this pic , it's not supposed to go over that last step (where the arrow is pointing) on the stud is it? Looking at the stock 1991 pedal the stud is all one diameter but this one from the 1998 gets bigger just before the end and curious if the later model rod has a larger hole that is supposed to slide further on that stud and maybe that's adding to my problem.
