new pump no power steering??

there is no power steering, so I will remove the pump and disconnect the pressure line and proceed to napa and throw it threw the window

I know this thread is older but I had the same problem on my 97. I replaced the pump because I had no powersteering at all, after the reman pump was installed i had nothing! I took the new pump off, took it back, got another one and still had the same problem. I had read on here somewhere about unplugging the evo sensor under the dash, I did this and still nothing, so I unplugged the one from the pump and haven't had a problem since! It sure did suck replacing two pumps just to figure out is was just a gremlin in the sensors.
