well guys this is my friends gmt400 he is currently doing his mission ( he's mormon) but before he always use to say he wanted his truck to hang with the rest nothing super fast but with more get up and go. he has flowmaster dual exhaust and cold air intake. as for other mods 4'' lift on 33x12.50x15. i know he has 3.73s right now but im not sure if 456s would be a little much?

4.10's would be nice.

4.10 will be close to performance as with 3.73 and stock tires. 4.56 gears will have added "get up and go" but will also see higher rpms if highway driving us a concern. Personally I would prefer to be over geared then under geared

its a 96 if i remeber correctly vortec with no air bags. lol i know he has the 14 bolt sf rear end so im thinking he might have 4:10s i remember reading his rpo codes but that was about two years ago so i have forgotten alot.
