my 95 k1500, slow build.

so i bought my 95 k1500 about 9 months ago, with 140k on it, but needed some serious love.
i got it from a friend for $700 bucks

within the first week of buying it, it just sat and i started working on it

ac delco plugs
ac delco wires
accel cap and rotor
all new brake lines front and rear
rear wheel cylinder
rear wheel drums
front pads and rotors
tie rod
shift cable
4x4 diff actuator *bought the upgraded electronic*
heres the day i bought it.

started driving the truck before winter hit, to put some miles on it to see if anything reared its ugly head
and had to replace the tail gate hinges, which, the factorys were welded on, so i had to grind the old off, and install new ones
decided the bed runners were dumb looking, and removed those.

then i did rhino liner down the sides

bought a tsc deezee tool box for 30 bucks

and these 33s and rims

move forward to today, havent done much else aside from putting a radio in it.

today i ordered the blue leds from superbright leds to do the interior lights and dash/hvac

as well as black euro crystal front end lights

so now im waiting for all the lights to come in, so i can swap those, then hopefully in the next week or two im ordering my rough country 6" lift

and looking to do a seat swap with a custom built sub enclosure/center console!

decided to get some new speakers! as the old ones were well. yeah

got them all soldered up. used the connector from the old speaker.

old grille was ridiculous to remove. cut off wheel, pliers, and a screw driver later

got the lights in, and installed!
slight adjustments to make them fit right, but overall for 65 bucks im happy with them

im still gonna be buillding my reg cab 95. i dont really like the extended cab. either gonna keep that as dd status, or flip it for a profit.

swapped the rims and tires between the two.

deleted my abs. i hate that crap.

replaced my

pads,rotors,calipers,brake lines, front and rear.
drums, hardware, shoes, wheel cylinders
master cylinder, booster and deleted the abs with 93 k1500 proportioning valve

bought a skyjacker 6" lift kit today, used, needs new shocks. still covered in mud. oh well.

paid $250 bucks for it.
