manual transmission from a diesel truck to gas engine truck

Would the transmission from an early 90"s diesel truck fit on a gas engine?

The 6.2 / 6.5 have the same bell housing pattern as the small block, just be sure to get the appropriate flywheel and clutch for the trans and you shouldn't have any problems

Make sure you use the flywheel for your engine, and a clutch pressure plate for the transmission.

if its a auto 700R4 they have differnt shift points. i found this out when i put a gas 700r4 begind my 6.5 the thing never wanted to shift lol. diesels shift lower in the rpm range.
