i have some money left over from another LS swap I did and was thinking of doing an LS swap on my 1991 K1500 SCSWB
A couple questions for the experts.
I have the 700R4 trans with the 4 bolt transfer case adapter. Will I use the older one piece 4L60E trans (with torque converter spacer) and just swap my transfer case adapter. This way all my driveshafts will be used. Also will the LS ECM control the older 4L60E trans.
Or, will I have to use the newer two piece 4L60E with the 6 bolt transfer case adapter. If I go this route I might as well go AWD with custom drive shafts.
I want to retain cruise control, A/C everything so should I get DBW or DBC
