lowering leafs

I've already installed shackles and hangers but I'm thinking about getting 1" lowering leafs to perfect the stance of my rear suspension. Are they pretty accurate when they say it will be 1" lower? What is a good quality spring to use? Any good or bad experiences that could influence my decision?

I've never seen 1" lowering leafs.

I drank too much last night. The springs I'm looking at are western chassis 2" drop springs. I planned on getting an inch back by using the middle hole on my shackles.
