not sure if this goes here, but, my steering wheel has a developed a CLICK only turning to the left in one spot...
i have a new rag joint and a new gear box (it was clicking before)

it almost feels like a missing tooth in some kind of gear... slowly turning leeeeft-pop- more left...

thoughts on this?

Ever replaced your pitman or idler arm, sway bar links? Mine does that sometimes too but I replaced all that stuff and the steering got better, mine softly clicks occasionally

Have someone turn your wheel back n forth where the click is while you lay on the ground and look at all the tie rod ends and pittman/idler arm. Probably just worn in one spot.

What you are describing sounds more like the steering bearing in the column (usually a ford problem lol). I have no idea how hard it is to change, never had a chevy one apart. A square ford column is a MOTHA........... to take apart and change.
