Do I really have to jack the engine up to install long tube headers on my 1995 C2500 Burb? Looking at the install directions and it states I need to jack up the passenger side. Looking down I dont know why I would, thinking maybe it has something to do with 4wd trucks?

You need to massage the exhaust shield a little

I had to onThe pass side the header wouldn't clear the frame rail and valve cover. Drivers side went in gravy. I believe its because most motors don't sit in the middlenof the frame rails there usually slid over to thenpass side to clear for steering.

I had to massage the passenger side also. Didn't have starter clearance problems cause we have a high torque mini

ok. I can work with that. The exhaust shields are coming off anyway. I figure I'll try from underneath both sides and have someone catch it from the top.

Thanks
