Recently I bought a 99 tahoe. The ac does not work and I would really like to get it going. So far this is my plan. The compressor does not run so I checked and the system has no pressure on it so this should mean there is a leak somewhere right? Plan is to pull a vacuum on the system and fill it back up to spec with the 134a that has the die in it and try to find the leak, fix leak, replace 134a and oil. Any tips for getting this job done? Any common leak areas? High and low side proper pressure?
