Hey guys, found this while doing some other stuff under the truck. Is this gap between the pitman arm and the power steering normal? Do you guys have this same gap? Or do I need to take care of that?? I actually replaced this pitman arm myself about 2 years and 30,000 miles ago. But dang I can't remember if that was there when i did the install or not... should've taken pictures along the way.

Every aftermarket pitamn arm I've done on a chev has had more of a gap than the factory arm. An yes, I tourqe them to spec.

Totally normal. It's a tapered shaft.
