2 quarts through each rear wheel, and not a goddamn thing changed.
Fronts bled fine. If I can find enough F's to give, Ill try replacing the rear hose this weekend. It looks like it should be a little longer. (That's what she said) After that I quit.

It was initially dry, and is now wet from brake fluid. I replaced both lines on the rear axle the other day, and just took everything apart today to clean up the fittings, flares, etc..Is that wet from a penetrating oil? Meaning...if you had a small leak would you be able to spot it?
I just looked up parts on Rockauto, and new lines are less than 18" for a Tahoe or truck. I think something has been changed on your Tahoe, like maybe someone grabbed some old bracket they had lying around and used it. I looked at my dad's old c1500 and it's similar to my truck.

When I replaced all brake lines & proportioning valve on my '99, I use just a bit over 1 quart of brake fluid to bleed to all 4 wheels. Something is wrong. I would try a different master cylinder. If you had a leak anywhere that was allowing air in, you'd see mucho brake fluid dripping from that leak.
I bled my brakes by myself - just by opening one bleeder at a time, and letting gravity do its thing.
