Boom right there is 3 kits that are the same regardless of auto trac or not they all just say you may need a new driveshaft. Don't buy a used lift then ***** that it doesn't work next time.

ok first of all, i specified it being a pro comp 6", i stated the year of my truck, along with the transfer case. on top of that i JUST now provided the links to THE pdfs for the lift brand i have, i dont have a rcx, so that is irrelevant. i love how people say newb, thats really funny because none of you were smart enough to reply to the thread saying that it wont work, as well as half of you now still cant realize what im saying...if anybody would have listened then they would have been able to tell me the CORRECT info that i needed, instead of acting like all of you are king **** and know everything. what kind of moderator lets this go on, especially with the name calling?? if anyone should get banned i vote the 4th grade educated hillbilly from texas, if you were any kind of smart too you would have gone with a HP60 not a 44, so say im a newb and dont know what im talkin about, thats fine, ill just continue the search for a forum with guys who know what theyre talkin about actually, not just slappin **** together and hopin it works. as far as buying a used lift goes, i dont know about all of you but im not made of money and i have two projects that im pouring money into, so 300 bucks versus 1000+ is a deal. call me stupid for that. i thought thats why we had forums, to have "smarter" people give you information you needed. i guess im just the dumbass though.

actually the steering centerlinks are completely different, and alot of the other brackets you can MAKE work but dont exactly work. at this point a ban would be fine with me because now i have to spend another 400 dollars on a new centerlink and two control links for that. quote-"there is no difference other than those trucks equipped with autotrac require a new driveshaft ($400) when lifted more than 3"s"

are forums not for people that are either in need of help, info, or advice? why give wrong advice???

links to the pdf for part numbers and illustrations, as stated before i thought they were different but ASKED and was told they were the same besides driveshafts.

tell me those are the same centerlinks or that they are interchangable?

Please give me a second to edit my signature to say "Pro Comp Technical Team Member." These is a forum where people give advice, if you wanted to know for sure you should of called Pro Comp. I've installed multiple lifts including both autotrac and non autotrac lifts on NBS trucks and could not tell a difference other than new driveshaft and different transfercase but from what I've read over the years about OBS autotrac lifts, as DirtyHick also provided, the only difference was the driveshaft.

This is the second thread that you've been confrontational in both regarding your Pro Comp lift, if this is any sign of your membership here then you will not be a welcomed member of the team here at GMT400.com. Consider this a warning.
