Idles fine then drops RPM and dies

95 was the last year for TBI unless I'm mistaken.

96 was the first year of MPFI when they went to OBDII.

That's all from memory though.....and memory is a bit sketchy these days!



IAC will cause a similar problem with idle quality and stalling. This one is missing and essential component of the system and it runs fine until it warms up. That is consistent behavior with the O2 sensor being removed.

If it was the IAC motor, it would do it all the time...
