Just did the initial setup on my 14SF/Trutrac project. 3.73 used gears from a different housing, used original pinion shim, and carrier shim from current housing. Backlash matched original readings at .007", taken at 4 spots around the ring gear. Pattern looks OK to me, but this is my first time setting up a rear end. You can see the wear on some of the teeth, looks close to the pattern in the marking compound.

Looks nice and even to my untrained eye! Props for doing this yourself, differentials are something I let my mechanic deal with. Black magic, similar to auto transmissions in my book.
