How would the Odometer work in an LS swap?

Hey, I'm going to be swapping a 4.8/5.3 into my 89 350 TBI truck. I've been doing a lot of research and theres one thing that i cant seem to figure out. I plan on making everything work like factory but with a newer engine, and that means even the odometer. So I'm wondering how I wire or hook up the Odometer to work? and if you have any more suggestions to make it easier please let me know, I will take all the help I can get.

They make a module that you send the trans signal too, and it converts it to a gear driven cable that goes on the speedo.
