I’m planning on a 350 crate motor. Likely to see 350 hp/440lbft. Also having the 4l60 rebuilt and beefed up. So I’m wondering if my transfer case can handle it. I think it’s a NP241? Thx for any insight.

If your 241 is in good condition it will be fine.

If you want it for hardcore wheeling, check out a slip yoke eliminator and output shaft upgrade. Only upgrades I know of. Not really any easy swaps for a beefier TC with 27 spline input and the correct drop side.

241's have a few issues with age/abuse. Might not be a bad idea to have the trans shop check the chain and shift fork just to avoid future issues.
