How big of tires/rims

I have a 2000 3/4 4x4 chevy "classic" I'd like a nice wide stance,what size rims and tires can I get away with,also thought about a 2-3"lift but not sure what to do. Im new to this sight and will keep looking at pics on this sight

stock your not fitting any bigger/wider than a 285 on a 8" wheel. with a body lift and crank you can run a 33" or 305 on a 10" wheel or a 35" or 315 0n a 8" wheel. sorry I can do pics either to show you mine but find pics of bulldogs truck on here, our trucks are about the same other than my lift is 2" and I believe his is 3". also as a caution note, if you beat on it, you will put the tires in the fenders with this set up but if its a pavement queen you wont have a problem.

I got 285-75-16 on stock wheels and no crank

heres my k3500 that 454ss was talking about it has a 3" body lift and 2"blocks and cranked t bars tires are 35's on 16x9 rims
