Hole in back of my throttle body…

DO NOT hook the other valve cover to the hole in question. That valve cover needs filtered atmospheric air.
The nipple in the air cleaner adapter ABOVE the carb is the correct place to connect the fresh-air hose to the valve cover.

Below that nipple, on the lower part of the carburetor, is some other fitting. I can't tell what it is, but it appears to be plugging a vacuum port. IF you don't need the port, and it's not leaking vacuum...forget it exists.

I connected a hose from that nipple above the carb to the valve.
