I DRIVE A 1989 GMC K1500 EXTENDED CAB I WAS LOOKING TO UPGRADE THE EXHAUST ITS GOT SOME KIND OF CHEAPY FLOW MASTER SINGLE TO DUAL MUFFLER. IF I WANT GLASS PACKS SHOULD I PUT ONE GLASS PACK THEN Y FOR DUALS OR PUT Y THEN DUAL GLASSPACKS .

You could do it either way and I would suspect pretty similar results. If it were me I would just do a single flashback with a y after it to make your dual pipes. Probably a little cheaper that way too

I would go with a single glasspack and a y.

Do a single then a y pipe, my buddy did a y then dual glass packs and it was quieter than a single glasspack. And go with a longer one it will give you a deeper tone
