I recently rebuilt the TB and fuel injector pod in my truck. While reassembling everything I found a disconnected electrical component that is part of the wiring harness. Its passenger side, just under the relay cover / AC unit. Pictures attached.

Any clues to what this could be??

Could it be a old redundant connection that has been unplugged from the AC unit? AC hasn't been working since I've had the truck. I couldn't seem to find a spot to plug it in.

Truck is a '92 K2500 ECLB LD (6-lug).

Any ideas are much appreciated! Cheers.

It looks like the connection that goes into the switch that is in the left top corner of the picture. It screws into the accumulator. From what I've heard they are prone to failure after a few years. Hell who kno

ws, you may be able to plug it back in and have a functioning AC.

Definitely the ac accumulator cycling switch connector. If that is left unplugged, the AC clutch will not engage.
