I found this site via google in my quest for info about gauge clusters. I'm currently rebuilding an '89 from the group up but with a '96 interior, still figuring out the wiring though. I already found tons on info on this site!

My truck is an '89 c1500 2wd that was lowered 2-4 about 12 years ago. It originally came with a 305 TBI and a TH700. Now it will be lowered 4-6 and already has a ZZ4 for number of years. I will also swap out the carb for a fuel injection that I program myself. The Th700 will be removed in favor of a 4l60e.

Where I live, we have a yearly inspection and we're not allowed to change anything that's why it was only lowered 2/4. This year it will be 25 years old and then other rules apply
