Heavy Half?

Heyo, trying to get some opinions on my truck, some have told me it’s a heavy half some said otherwise
1993 Gmc Sierra SLE
It has 5 stock leaf springs, 14bolt rear with possi, still 6 bolt pattern, it also came stock with an NV4500 4sp with granny low
Any ideas on what this truck is?

My truck is hauling the other shitbox chev

Yes those parts show it’s a heavy half! Unless someone swapped in all
Of those parts it’s a 2500 light duty or heavy half. I’ve got the same truck but 92. nV4500, 14 bolt, extra leaf etc. I need to check a 1/2 ton frame because mine appears to have a heavy duty frame but I haven’t confirmed that yet. I noticed when finding a t bar cross member at the treasure yard that the 1/2 ton versions don’t fit my truck I had to find a 3/4 ton to get the right one.

2500 LD, heavy half is the cooler name so that's what I say mine is. Should also have bigger brakes, not sure if they're one or two sizes up from the smallest.

Technically, aren’t they considered F44 K1500 trucks with that option? I’ve never seen a LD2500 with the Z71 RPO.

I mean, I wasn't going to say anything because I'm building a fake Z71, but now you've got me thinking about what the difference between a F44 K1500 and K2500 LD is.

yes. only 1500s have the z71 code

Another question if anyone knows, my driveshaft has a dent in it, how do I go about looking for the proper fit since I can’t just look up half ton parts?

yes it is but heavy half is a square body term used on gmcs same as the chevy big 10
