Bolts one and six in place on the driver (more difficult for me anyways) side with spreader, ready to put the gasket in, thank God almighty, we are making progress.

Two pass torque method.
11 lb. ft. on first pass.
22 lb. ft. on second pass.

Keep in mind, that pertains to stock hardware. I can't tell you what to torque that Dorman hardware to.

Heat the bolts/studs up cherry red and finger tighten them (ouch!) You can't loose with Dorman

Seriously, I wouldn't use them to bolt a toilet to its flange.

I tried one like this but instead of the rod that slides into the hole in the middle of the pulley, it had a round knob that just butted up against it.

I bought an OEM brand puller today from autozone, that thing didnt pull ****, just fouled up the pulling lip and kept popping off. Guess i should have rented

I’m telling you, same thing happened to me! And yes, when I rented, I got the big nice set with all the options that worked great.
