Harness interchangeability

I have a 98 c1500 305 and I need a engine harness I found one for a 98 Tahoe 4x4 350 will it work on my truck or what has to be changed for it to work

Questions first. Why do you need a new harness? Rodents chewed it all up? Some other damage? The one you found, is it on line and cannot compare, side by side? I would think the biggest problem could be the PCM attachment.

all of the plugs are the same just has the few extras for 4x4 and i have been having trans problems and i took it in and they said the harness is in bad shape and the wires on touching causing problems

Wires touching can be repaired. "Harness in bad shape" means?
