My bad, let me ask the question like this. Does it squirt gas when you pull the throttle cable, with out the engine running. The accelerator pump gives a squirt of gas before the engine pulls a vacuum on the venturies sucking more gas into the engine. This helps to eliminate the stall when you punch the gas to the floor (with the engine running). The acc. pump giving a squirt of gas, will also help to start the truck, before the engine starts, and has no vacuum, giving a shot of fuel to help the engine fire up.

yeah, sorry for not being clear on that. it does w/o engine running, i put together a bypass with a 1/16 hole for the return to see if that helps im going to try tomorrow
