Haha yes I've heard that one too. But I think we need to get back on to topic and wait for the build to start. I'm getting sick of all this back and forth crap. Everyone has opinions and it will never change
I need to post pics of that cummins 12v into that stock gm400 suburban 4x4, so people understand you don't need 1 ton axles to have the cummins
It helps a lot though, 1/2 ton trucks and their suspensions are not meant to hold the weight or power of a cummins. A 4bt could be had with the stock suspension but when you start putting 12 valves and 24 valves in there you will want/need at least a 3/4 ton suspension.
