Just got a new to me Cervinis hood. It almost fit perfect, but it sits a little higher than the fenders on both sides. About 1/8". I've got it pushed as far back as it will on the hinges. Is there anyway to get a bit more play out of it?

I am not certain what you mean exactly.

Pictures would help. If the hood is vertically higher than the fenders, open the hood and flex it towards the windshield some with a bit of effort on one side, that will cause the hood to sit lower when closed. Repeat for the opposite side. It may take a few nudges to make it move.

If the fender tips stick out less than the hood over the grille, you can either move both fenders forward, or you can slightly bend the tips out some if the gap is tight.

After a fender bender in 2010, I slotted the adjustment holes on mine with a drill bit and a dremel tool to make the adjustment holes longer in the hinge bracket where the hood bolts, so I could get mine to align.

Hate to say it this way, But its aftermarket so be prepared to accept an alright fit. My goodmark hood isnt perfect either. It doesnt look to bad but its far from perfect fit. Fiberglass hoods can be a pain also. You will just have to play around with adjustments to get it as close as you can. Post up some pics!!

There is a rubber bumper on both sides in the front screw into the rad. core support, is to high, and it is not letting your hood go down enough. This rubber screws up and down for adjustment. If it is down all the way, then you can cut or grind a little off of the top of it to let the hood set down some more. Also you can get a little from spacing the last bolt of the fender( next to the grill) with a washer, under the bolt that holds it to the rad. core support. If you have dropped the hinges as far as they will go down on the fender sides, then you will have to slot the bolt holes in the hinges like I suggested. To do this, you will have to remove the hinges. It takes a lot of opening and closing to get the adjustment correct.

So on the washer, you're talking about basically bumping the fender up a hair?
