FWIW…Dorman still sells them, maybe there’s one over there already in some parts store.

I think it’s structural too, as it’s X-shaped. Diagonal bracing is structural and gives lateral racking strength.

If you look at this photo with that brace removed, without that brace, either frame rail can move forward or backward(if bumped/hit). If I had a frame in that condition, before tightening that x-brace, I would check a few different points measuring diagonally. Stuff racks easily without diagonal bracing.
