We have a 1989. Chevy K, 1500. OBS and we have redone Most of the wiring in the truck because some of the original wiring got fried And so we have wiring from the 1989 (the original wiring) and we also have wiring from a 1993 Chevy K 1500 OBS, I do believe it is. we are trying to figure out how to run the wires together, which colors can be fused/spliced together. We have bought a book. that has wire diagrams in it and we have bought another book that has other kinds of diagrams and such. It has been nothing but a nightmare and we cannot figure it out for the life of us. We are at the bulkhead that goes into the firewall of the truck and we were left with five wires that did not match with the old wiring system. Is there anybody that can help us figure out the last couple wires. That we have I took it above myself to just guess and connect them together and that was obviously a bad idea. because my fiance. told me something. and I misunderstood what he had said and I should not have done that. I have gone online to look for a complete pin out list. of the original year 1589 and a complete pinout list of the new truck. 1993 and I. have not been able to find too much information on it if I could. find the pin out. of both these I will be able to run the wires together accordingly. As of right now. I am worried if we just start the truck that it's going to fire your the entire wire system up again.. Also we have a black wire (ground) wire that Im not to sure were it connects. If its a ground it should just go into the trucks firewall somewhere right?
