So I recently traded my car for a '96 Chevy C1500 and I decided to *TRY* to remove the chrome fender mouldings before the rust gets any worse from built up debris. I successfully got 3 of them off but the last one is so stripped and quite rusted that I actually was trying to push up and grab onto one of the screws and it went right through the top of the fender lip hah.
Now I do not have my dremel here and I am wondering if there is maybe some type of dremel-like thing I can get that will work in a drill and I can just cut the notch to remove these with a flathead. I am going to attempt putting duct tape over them and remove using the philips when I get home but I doubt this will grab either.
Any VERY CHEAP tips for stripped screws is greatly appreciated.
